Carrie Sheppard, MEd Carrie Sheppard, MEd
Carrie is a licensed mental health counselor and has been a child and family therapist for over 20 years. Specializing in treating autism spectrum disorders for the past 10 years, she maintains a clinical practice, in addition to providing education, training and consultation services to parents and professionals, both locally and internationally.

Mary Gengler Fuhr, OTR/L

Mary Gengler Fuhr, OTR/L
Mary has been a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for over 25 years. Her experience includes serving children, families, and educators at Children's Therapy Center of Kent, Rosemary White's Clinic, and the Fife and Kent School Districts. Mary was an instructor in the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program at Green River Community College and has taught workshops at hospitals and clnics around the country. She is the co-author of the book and video, "Pediatric Massage for the Child with Special Needs". Mary is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor and Yogafit Instructor. She has extensive training in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and Sensory Integration (SI) assessment and treatment. She also has current training in DIR/Floortime and Therapeutic Listening.

Elaine Duncan, MA

Elaine Duncan, MA
Elaine is a licensed mental health counselor. She treats mental health issues in the general population as well as those affected by autism, does vocational and career counseling, and provides couple counseling when one member of the couple is on the autism spectrum. Elaine's specialties include providing vocational assessments, helping individuals impacted by autism spectrum disorders to prepare for, seek, and retain jobs, and supporting teens and adults with ASD in developing healthy peer relationships. In addition, Elaine provides counseling for depression, anxiety, OCD, couples concerns and panic attacks. Elaine sees clients at the MindSource Center as well as at her office in Redmond, WA.

Lousie Harris, LMHC Louise Harris, LMHC
Louise is a licensed mental health counselor serving as a psychotherapist, and providing both individual and family counseling. She utilizes Emotion Focused Therapy and the Gottman approach in couple's therapy. Specialties include children, adolescents and family support for ASD. She also counsels new parents through issues including Postpartum Mood Disorders.

Dr. Rudy Lorber, Ph.D, ABPP

Dr. Rudy Lorber, Ph.D., ABPP
Dr. Lorber is a Pediatric Neuropsychologist who is nationally Board Certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Cognitive and Behavioral Psychology and in School Psychology. Dr. Lorber has over 30 years of experience providing comprehensive evaluations of children, adolescents, and young adults with neurological and developmental disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, attentional and related difficulties, severe Learning Disabilities, and social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. These evaluations identify and document an individual's strengths as well as challenges, and thus yield very specific recommendations to be implemented by schools and medical and healthcare providers. Dr. Lorber also provides short-term research-based parent-mediated interventions ("Parent Training") that teach parents specific techniques to increase their child's positive/adaptive behaviors and decrease problematic or maladaptive behaviors.

Heather M. Scheer, M.S. CCC-SLP Heather M. Scheer, M.S., CCC-SLP
Heather is a Washington state licensed and nationally certified speech language pathologist. She has 14 years experience working with children and adolescents with a variety of disabilities. Heather earned dual Master's degrees in Communication Disorders & Sciences and Early Childhood Intervention from the University of Oregon. Her specialty areas include early childhood intervention and autism spectrum disorders. She has served children and families through her private practice since 1996, as well as working for the Kent and Auburn school districts. Her current trainings include Technique level PROMPT training, Social Thinking (Michelle Garcia Winner), and the clinical training program for the Social Responsiveness Scale.
